It enjoys international status. All Member States to the Treaty are members of ERSUMA. Any State acceding to the Treaty after its entry into force automatically becomes member of ERSUMA.<\/p>\n<p>However, ERSUMA may occasionally accept nationals of non-member States, with the approval of the School Board. The purpose of ERSUMA is to work towards improving the legal and judicial environment in all Member States.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, ERSUMA is charged with the capacity-building and training of judges and court officials of Member States on harmonized laws and business law.
