On 12 December 2023, Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE<\/b>, Permanent Secretary of the Organization for the Harmonization of \u00a0 Business Law in Africa (OHADA), granted an audience to Mr. Charles ASSAMBA ONGODO<\/b>, Vice-President of the Central African Economic and Monetary Commission (CEMAC), at the Organization\u2019s Headquarters in Yaound\u00e9. He was accompanied on this occasion by Mr. Pierre-Guillaume BOUM BISSAI<\/b>, Resident Representative of CEMAC in Cameroon. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The two leaders sized up issues of common interest to their respective organizations, including the critical topic of financing. They also agreed to give a fresh impetus to the cooperation between CEMAC and OHADA. To this end, the Cooperation Agreement signed between the two Organizations on 24 June 2002 will be reviewed to encompass new developments and challenges facing them. Both organizations will also draw up and implement a joint activities programme for the coming years.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
