Speaking on this occasion to an audience of over 200 participants hailing from 20 different nationalities, OHADA’s Permanent Secretary presented the Organisation, its achievements, its contribution to the economies of its Member States, and its prospects for expansion. He also highlighted the specific features of the<\/span><\/em> Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM) as well as the challenges and guidelines for its smooth operation in the best interests of investors, professionals and governments.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Lastly, the Permanent Secretary took part in the institutional meeting of AFREC members, which included a presentation of Infogreffe’s experience and a rich exchange of views on the means, strategies and methods of managing registers. The results of these valuable discussions will be used in the project aimed at enhancing the RCCM-OHADA and RSCOOP and the effective operation of registers of beneficial owners in OHADA Member States. He further undertook actions to strengthen cooperation with the Alliance, the Registrars and the various stakeholders in commercial justice, in particular commercial courts, public authorities and employers.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
