{"id":43205,"date":"2025-05-22T13:00:04","date_gmt":"2025-05-22T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ohada.org\/?p=43205"},"modified":"2025-05-22T13:08:07","modified_gmt":"2025-05-22T12:08:07","slug":"working-lunch-between-imd-and-the-ohada-permanent-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ohada.org\/en\/working-lunch-between-imd-and-the-ohada-permanent-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"Working Lunch between IMD and the OHADA Permanent Secretary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Permanent Secretary of OHADA, <strong>Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE<\/strong>, had a working lunch on 17 May 2025 with <strong>Prof. Ndeye Coumba Madeleine NDIAYE<\/strong>, Director of the Institute of Legal Professions of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (IMD), accompanied by her team, comprising Professors <strong>Ndeye Sophie DIAGNE<\/strong>, Dean of Studies, and <strong>Fatoumata Bintou DIA BIAYE<\/strong>, Coordinator of competitive entrance examination preparation sessions, and <strong>Mr Adama NDIAYE<\/strong>, Head of the Faculty&#8217;s IT Department.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Over a convivial and fraternal meal, the officials discussed IMD&#8217;s contribution to the Senegal Plan 2050 and the African Union&#8217;s Agenda 2063.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Given the importance of human capital in Africa&#8217;s development plans, particular emphasis was laid on the employability of young lawyers and on strengthening IMD&#8217;s institutional capacities, in particular through the development of distance learning to ensure the effective deployment of the professional courses offered by the institution.
