This formal ceremony was attended by members of the OHADA Council of Ministers, members of the Government of the Republic of Chad, representatives of the diplomatic corps, OHADA\u2019s technical and financial partners, Chadian civil and military authorities, as well as members of the OHADA Committee of Experts.<\/p>\n
Following the welcome address delivered by Mr Mahamat Brahim Siam<\/strong>, representative of the Mayor of the City of N\u2019Djamena, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE<\/strong>, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, expressed his gratitude to the Chadian authorities, and in particular to Marshal Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno<\/strong>, Head of State and President of the Republic of Chad, President-in-office of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of OHADA, for the hospitality and continued support extended to OHADA throughout Chad\u2019s term of office.<\/p>\n In his opening address, the Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Republic of Chad recalled that the importance of OHADA in the development of its Member States is attested by all economic impact studies. He welcomed the forthcoming International Congress on the Business Climate in Africa (CICAAf) and urged members of the Council of Ministers to contribute, through their deliberations, to the continued strengthening of the Organisation.<\/p>\n In addition to examining the draft budget of OHADA Institutions, the Council of Ministers will deliberate on a number of draft legal instruments.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
