Ahead of the formal opening of the Competition, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE<\/strong>, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, delivered a lecture entitled \u201cOHADA as a Driver of Continuous Improvement in the Business Climate in Africa\u201d. He also presented awards to the team from Benin, winners of the 16th edition of the Competition.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The ceremony was attended by Professor Komlan BATAWILA<\/strong>, First Vice-President of the University of Lom\u00e9; Dr Karel Osiris Coffi DOGU\u00c9<\/strong>, Director General of ERSUMA, the OHADA Regional School of Business Law; Dr Oliver LOBE<\/strong>, Chair of the International Committee of the \u201cG\u00e9nies en herbe OHADA\u201d Competition; as well as representatives of professional and employers\u2019 organisations.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The event was also marked by the presence of Mr J\u00e9r\u00f4me Komi ADJESSOM<\/strong>, Executive Secretary of the National OHADA Commission of Togo, who represented the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Togo, current Chair of the Council of Ministers of the Organisation.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n This flagship competition forms part of OHADA\u2019s ongoing efforts to promote knowledge of business law, strengthen legal capacity among young people and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business environment across its Member States.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
