{"id":45432,"date":"2026-02-28T05:43:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-28T04:43:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ohada.org\/?p=45432"},"modified":"2026-03-03T08:44:45","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T07:44:45","slug":"strengthening-the-operational-capacities-of-ohada-national-commissions-focus-on-fundraising-techniques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ohada.org\/en\/strengthening-the-operational-capacities-of-ohada-national-commissions-focus-on-fundraising-techniques\/","title":{"rendered":"Strengthening the Operational Capacities of OHADA National Commissions: Focus on Fundraising Techniques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s3\">The OHADA Permanent Secretariat <\/span><span class=\"s3\">organised<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, from 23 to 26 February 2026, via videoconference, a training seminar on fundraising and resource <\/span><span class=\"s3\">mobilisation<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> techniques for the benefit of the OHADA National Commissions (ONCs).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s3\">Over the four-day session, participants enhanced their knowledge and strengthened their skills in identifying funding opportunities, structuring bankable projects, and <\/span><span class=\"s3\">mobilising<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> resources from technical and financial partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s3\">The discussions also provided an opportunity for experience-sharing among members of the various ONCs, thereby fostering the exchange of best practices and the development of <\/span><span class=\"s3\">harmonised<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> approaches to the design and management of strategic projects at the national level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s3\">This new training session <\/span><span class=\"s3\">follows on<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> from the legislative drafting workshop <\/span><span class=\"s3\">organised<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> by OHADA in December 2024 for the benefit of the ONCs. <\/span><span class=\"s3\">It <\/span><span class=\"s3\">forms<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> part of the ongoing capacity-building efforts aimed at strengthening the ONCs, which are key national stakeholders in the development, implementation and ownership of uniform law, with a view to continuously improving the business climate within the OHADA area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s3\">In the coming weeks, a complementary workshop on international negotiation techniques will be <\/span><span class=\"s3\">organised<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">in order to<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> equip members of the ONCs with the skills required to negotiate, conclude and secure strategic partnerships.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The OHADA Permanent Secretariat organised, from 23 to 26 February 2026, via videoconference, a training seminar on fundraising and resource mobilisation techniques for the benefit of the OHADA National Commissions (ONCs).
