This continuing training session is designed to provide a comprehensive analysis of corporate management, control and administrative mechanisms, with particular emphasis on Public Limited Companies and Professional Civil Companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The programme follows a structured and progressive approach: it begins with a thorough understanding of the legal and statutory framework governing corporate bodies, expands to include stakeholder integration (both public and private), proceeds with the core principles of financial governance, and culminates in the management of risks associated with directors\u2019 liability. The andragogical approach is practice-oriented, combining workshops, case studies and continuous exchange of best practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Objectives of the training:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The training aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">provide a clear understanding of the legal framework and fundamental principles governing corporate governance of commercial companies within the OHADA area;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">develop skills in stakeholder identification and mapping to assess, at an early stage, the influence and expectations of various public and private stakeholders;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">strengthen participants\u2019 ability to conduct effective and context-appropriate board interactions, while strategically safeguarding the company\u2019s interests and value creation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">enhance capacity to manage corporate financial governance, from the reading of financial statements to the interpretation of management indicators, in compliance with applicable accounting standards;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">secure the proper discharge of corporate mandates through a sound understanding of the scope of directors\u2019 liabilities (civil, criminal and tax), as well as mechanisms for preventing sanctions; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">promote the application of operational best practices to transform legal compliance constraints into a genuine driver of corporate performance and sustainability.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Methodology:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The training will be delivered both in person and via videoconference by expert practitioners in OHADA law, corporate governance, finance and accounting. It will consist of targeted theoretical presentations, sharing of professional experience, interactive discussions and group work sessions, during which practical case studies\u2014primarily drawn from corporate practice within and beyond the OHADA area\u2014will be examined.
