President of the Cameroon Bar Association, and the other by Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his address, the President of the Bar underscored the pivotal role played by lawyers in the effective implementation and dissemination of the law in general, and of business law in particular. Calling for sustained and practical cooperation, he expressed the hope that the partnership would translate into tangible initiatives, particularly in the areas of training, capacity-building and the promotion of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms. He also highlighted Cameroon\u2019s comparative advantages, noting that its geostrategic location and bijural legal tradition constitute key assets for extending the influence of OHADA law beyond its current geographical boundaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For his part, the Permanent Secretary of OHADA welcomed this convergence of vision and the shared commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. He recalled that OHADA is a legal integration organisation dedicated to the harmonisation of business law and the enhancement of legal and judicial certainty within its Member States.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This cooperation agreement marks an important milestone in strengthening the synergy between the two institutions. It is intended, in particular, to enhance the expertise of legal practitioners, promote a better understanding and application of OHADA law, and advance bilingualism in legal texts and their implementation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement ushers in a new era of collaboration between OHADA and the Cameroon Bar Association.
