With a view to exploring avenues for collaboration between the two institutions, H.E. Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of the Organisation for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), held talks with Dr Pulch\u00e9rie AMOUGUI, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Catholic University of Central Africa (UCAC), on 26 October 2026.<\/p>\n
Discussions focused, in particular, on establishing a framework for cooperation aimed at promoting research and strengthening ties between OHADA and UCAC.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, the Dean expressed her desire to develop, in partnership with OHADA, initiatives benefiting students in the fields of business law, litigation, arbitration and taxation.<\/p>\n
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for OHADA\u2019s participation in the Faculty\u2019s Academic Excellence Day and Careers Days.<\/p>\n
The Permanent Secretary welcomed this initiative, underscoring the importance OHADA attaches to raising awareness of and promoting business law within the university community. He also highlighted the availability of OHADA\u2019s documentation centres to students and raised the possibility of involving the OHADA Regional School of Business Law (ERSUMA) in the cooperation framework, given its mandate in training and capacity-building.<\/p>\n
Both institutions expressed their commitment to continuing consultations with a view to formalising their partnership through the conclusion of a cooperation agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
