OHADA Charts a Stronger Course for Institutional Governance

The city of Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon, has been hosting, since Monday, 20 April 2026, a review workshop on OHADA’s Financial Regulations and its Manual of Administrative, Financial and Accounting Procedures.

Held under the chairmanship of OHADA’s Permanent Secretary, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, the workshop is part of the ad hoc inter-institutional committee’s initiatives aimed at restructuring the regulatory framework governing the functioning of the Organisation’s Institutions.

Over a six-day period, delegations from the Permanent Secretariat, the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration, and ERSUMA will consider the draft instruments prepared by consultants, with a view to submit them to the Committee of Experts for consideration and subsequent adoption by the OHADA Council of Ministers.
