For its fifth gathering, the interinstitutional committee for the financing and monitoring of OHADA projects (CIRFIPO), a body set up by the Permanent Secretary in December 2023, held its maiden physical workshop in Lomé (TOGO), from 7-9 October 2024. This workshop was attended by Units of the OHADA Permanent Secretariat, Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) and the Regional Advanced School of Magistracy (ERSUMA).
The deliberations, which were chaired by the CIRFIPO President, Mr Patrice OMGBA, OHADA Finance and Accounting Director and Executive Secretary of the Committee for the Standardization of OHADA (CNPC-OHADA) accounting profession, enabled participants to make significant progress as regards the identification of funding sources, the proposal of strategies aimed at mobilizing donors to support the Organization and the improvement of the monitoring framework for the achievement of projects funded by OHADA technical and financial partners.
The workshop was officially closed by a word of encouragement by Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, OHADA Permanent Secretary.
