On 6 February 2024, the 57th Session of the OHADA Council of Ministers took place at King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar, Senegal. This Session was preceded, as usual, by the Experts Committee meeting on 3 and 4 February 2024.
The Ministers meeting was held in bimodal format, with several delegations attending the meeting physically and others by videoconference. Chaired by H.E. Mrs Aïssata TALL SALL, Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice of Senegal and President in office of the OHADA Council of Ministers, the OHADA Institutions’ progress report for the 2023 financial year was scrutinized. Most notably, the 2024 budget for the OHADA Institutions was adopted at the end of deliberations by the Council of Ministers.
