In preparation for the holding of the 58th Session of the OHADA Council of Ministers, proceedings of the Committee of Experts officially kicked off on Monday 17 February 2025 at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar.
After the welcome address by Ms. Hélène SARR, Executive Secretary of the OHADA National Commission of Senegal, and the special address of Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, the opening ceremony ended with the opening speech by His Excellency Mr. Ousmane DIAGNE, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals of the Republic of Senegal, President in office of the OHADA Council of Ministers. In his address, the President of the Council of Ministers urged Experts to conduct their deliberations in a calm and businesslike manner, with a view to preparing the deliberations of the Council of Ministers, which will take place on 20 and 21 February 2025.
