Sequel to the seminar held in June 2024 on innovations pertaining to the OHADA Uniform Acts, a workshop on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is taking place from 9 to 10 October 2024 in Bangui, the economic and political capital of the Central African Republic (CAR). This workshop is organized by the Permanent Secretariat, in collaboration with the Central African OHADA National Commission (ONC) and is sponsored by the European Union within the framework of the Support Programme for Regional Integration and Investment in Central Africa (PAIRIAC). The opening ceremony of this event was attended by Mr Olivier BOGUET, representative of the Head of the European Union Delegation in CAR, and Mr Saint-Paul NDONGO SINDO, President of the ONC.
Over the next two days, participants, who include Judges and Legal Officers, Notaries, Lawyers, Bailiffs, Bank Managers and Lawyers, as well as University dons, will rub minds with their peers on ADR related matters, especially those governed by the OHADA uniform law.
