ADR Workshop in N’Djamena: here we go!

Since this morning, the Radisson BLU Hotel in N’Djamena has been playing host to a workshop on alternative dispute resolution (ADR), organized by the OHADA Permanent Secretariat in collaboration with Chad’s OHADA National Commission and with the support of the European Union. The workshop, which is also open to online participants, is being held in the presence of Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, OHADA’s Permanent Secretary.

For two days, Judicial and Legal Officers, lawyers, notaries public, bailiffs, court registrars, managers and company executives will brainstorm with facilitators on key issues and conditions pertaining to alternative dispute resolution, with a view to ensuring greater recourse to ADR. As the sixth of its kind, the N’Djamena workshop will be followed by another outreach activity on ADR scheduled to take place in Bangui, Central African Republic, on 8 and 9 January 2024, accessible by videoconferencing.
