Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience on Friday 13 September 2024 by Mr Abdoulaye DIOP, President of the Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). The two leaders, flanked by their close collaborators, exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest. They also agreed to pursue and intensify collaboration between the organisations for which they are responsible, in order to significantly improve the investment climate and respond as effectively as possible to the expectations of both economic stakeholders and governments. To this end, the Cooperation Agreement between the two Organizations will be updated soonest.
