 BIMODAL TRAINING SESSION

“PRACTICE OF CCJA ARBITRATION AND OHADA MEDIATION“

CÔTE D’IVOIRE – VIDEOCONFERENCE

The Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA), in partnership with the Arbitration Centre of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), is organizing a bimodal training session from April 15 to 19, 2024. This session will be held simultaneously on-site at the CCJA headquarters in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and by videoconference on the theme: “Practice of CCJA Arbitration and OHADA Mediation“. CCJA Arbitration practice will be discussed in the light of its new Rules of Procedure on Arbitration.

  • Target audience: Arbitrators; mediators; promoters, leaders, managers and staff of arbitration institutions; economic operators; judicial and legal officers; company lawyers; academics; lawyers; notaries; bailiffs; court clerks; company directors from all sectors; executives and staff of chambers of commerce and industry; anyone interested in the role of arbitrator or mediator.

  • Mr Achille NGWANZA, Doctor of Private Law, Partner JUS AFRICA, member of the ICC International Court, Chairman of the OHADA working group of the French Arbitration Committee, Trainer at ERSUMA;

 Online registration (mandatory):

  • Final registration and payment by April 04, 2024 entitles the participant to a 10% discount on training fees.
  • Participants attending by video-conference will receive their connection and participation code once they have sent their payment slip to ersuma@ohada.org / ersuma@ohada.org or upon validation of their online payment ;
  • Participants attending the course on-site will receive notification that their payment has been validated and will be invited to join the course.
