On 4 and 5 December 2025, an OHADA delegation led by Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, will meet with the Presidential Unit on the Business Climate and the National OHADA Commission of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The purpose of this meeting is to lay the groundwork for cooperation between OHADA and the DRC for the successful organization of the proceedings of the first edition of CICAAf in 2026. This inaugural edition is expected to lead to the establishment of the African Business Climate Observatory (OCAAf) and the creation of a Support Fund for the Improvement of the Business Climate in Africa (FACAA).
States, African integration organizations, private, public and para-public sectors, experts, as well as technical and financial partners will take part in the proceedings in order, collectively, to “rethink the business climate in Africa for sustainable and responsible investment.”
