On Thursday 15 February 2024, Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience by Dr. Aboubakar NACANABO, Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning of Burkina Faso, in the presence of Mrs Fatoumata BAKO TRAORE, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget and their close collaborators.
Discussions focused on various topics of interest to OHADA. In addition to scheduled institutional events, discussions also covered activities planned for the benefit of the business community.
The Minister commended the actions undertaken by OHADA to meet the expectations of States Parties and reiterated Burkina Faso’s commitment towards the Organisation. He stressed the need to strengthen the Organization with regard to its mission of improving business climate in Africa, through the continued enhancement of legal and judicial certainty.
