Permanent Secretary’s Mission to the Republic of Guinea

Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, undertook a working visit to Conakry (Guinea) on 6 and 7 May 2024.

On this occasion, he was received in audience by H.E. Mr Bah OURY, Prime Minister, Head of Government of the Republic of Guinea. The key role of OHADA as an instrument for promoting economic and social development and issues relating to the financing of the Organisation were at the centre of the discussions.

Prior to this meeting, the Permanent Secretary was received in audience by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Keeper of the Seals of the Republic of Guinea, followed by the Minister of Economy and Finance. He had cordial and fruitful discussions with these two statutory members of the OHADA Council of Ministers on various issues relating to the life of the Organisation. During his stay, the Permanent Secretary also paid a working visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea.
