PRESENTATION OF OHADA GREEN CODES TO THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON

 

On August 28, 2020, the Permanent Secretary of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), Prof. Emmanuel Sibidi DARANKOUM, was given an audience by H.E. Laurent ESSO, Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals of the Republic of Cameroon. Dr. Gaston KENFACK DOUAJNI, Director of Legislation and member of Cameroon OHADA National Commission also attended this meeting.

After extending his gratitude to the Keeper of the Seals for his continued availability, the Permanent Secretary reported to him on the activities conducted by OHADA over the past year despite the COVID-19 pandemic and sought his guidance and advice.

In connection with the meeting, the Permanent Secretary presented to the Minister of State an important set of OHADA’s Green Codes, the 2020 edition, graciously made available to the Permanent Secretariat of OHADA by UNIDA. This is for the purpose of dissemination and popularisation of OHADA law in Cameroon.
