In accordance with the missions entrusted to him upon taking office, the Permanent Secretary travelled to Paris from 18 to 22 December 2023, where he held talks with several OHADA institutional stakeholders. In addition to his meetings with European partners and his participation in the colloquium organized at the Maison du Barreau to mark the 30th anniversary of OHADA, where he contributed to discussions on the evaluation and the way forward regarding OHADA Law, the Permanent Secretary held working sessions with the following officials:
- Mr Christophe GUILHOU, Director of Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs;
- Mr Rémy RIOUX, Director of the French Development Agency;
- Ms Shanti BOBIN, Deputy Director of Multilateral Financial Affairs and Development at the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty;
- Bernard CAZENEUVE, President of the International Institute of Law of French Expression and Inspiration (IDEF);
- Ms Anne Charlotte GROS, President of the Foundation for Continental Law;
- Ms Sandrine SORIEUL, Director General and Mr Jean-Jacques LECAT, Chairman of the Legal and Tax Commission of the French Council of Investors in Africa (CIAN).
