H.E. Thierry MARCHAND, French Ambassador to Cameroon, paid a working visit to the OHADA Permanent Secretariat on Tuesday 12 December 2023. He was accompanied on this occasion by Ms. Virgine DAGO, Director of the French Development Agency for Cameroon, and Mr. Yann LORVO, Cooperation and Cultural Action Adviser at the French Embassy in Cameroon.
The Ambassador and his delegation were received by Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, the OHADA Permanent Secretary, and his closest collaborators. Discussions focused on the historic and fruitful partnership existing between OHADA and the French Republic, as well as prospects for collaboration on the Organization’s future activities. Particular attention was paid to OHADA’s impact on investment growth, investors’ security and the economic development of Member States.
