Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, paid an official visit to Togo, where he was received on Thursday, 29 January 2026, by Mr. Pacôme Yawovi ADJOUROUVI, Minister of Justice and Human Rights and Keeper of the Seals of the Togolese Republic.
As Togo is due to assume the Presidency of OHADA for the year 2026 in the coming days, the two officials held a working meeting to discuss the roadmap and key priorities for Togo’s term of office.
They also discussed arrangements for the forthcoming handover ceremony of the Presidency of the OHADA Council of Ministers, scheduled to take place shortly in Lomé. The ceremony will also mark the assumption of office by the President of the Togolese Republic, H.E. Mr. Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBÉ, as Chair of the OHADA Conference of Heads of State and Government for the year 2026.
