Under the patronage of the President of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), the Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of OHADA, in partnership with DOING GOOD IN AFRICA and AFFECTIO MUTANDI, and with the technical support of the OHADA Permanent Secretariat, is organizing the 3rd edition of the International Forum of Legal and Figures Experts (FIPROD) at the hotel la Falaise in YaoundĂ©, from 22-25 May 2024, on the theme: “Corporate Social Responsibility in Africa “. This 3rd edition of FIPROD will bring together legal and figures experts, economic operators, business leaders as well as politicians to take stock of CSR in Africa and reflect on concrete strategies towards promoting the mainstreaming of CSR policy into the continent, for the enhancement of economic and social values.

Programme:

  • Five (5) thematic workshops dedicated to discussions between participants from different geographical and professional backgrounds on the issue of CSR in Africa;
  • Two (2) professional and institutional roundtables to share experience on the challenges posed by CSR on the continent;
  • Professional cooperation activities, notably exhibitions/sales on stands, showcasing partners’ products and services, sponsors and advertisers, brainstorming sessions, negotiation fairs, professional and business talks;
  • A gala evening;
  • Tourist and sporting activities.

–       PhD students and other categories of students shall benefit from a special rate of CFA F 180,000 (on-site) or 60,000 (visio), upon request addressed to the Director General of ERSUMA, enclosing a valid registration voucher covering the period 2022 to 2024.

–       Young professionals (lawyers, notaries public, bailiffs, chartered accountants, etc.) aged 35 or under on 31 December 2024 shall benefit from a 10% discount upon request.

–       10% discount is granted for all group registrations made up of at least three (3) people.

–       20% discount is granted to groups made up of at least ten (10) people.

Participation fees for FIPROD 3 covers teaching aids and materials, coffee breaks and lunches during the deliberations, the gala evening and the sightseeing tour. Travel, accommodation and other catering costs are borne by participants.
