OHADA Permanent Secretariat Stands with Entrepreneurs at the Launch
The High Council of Entrepreneurs of Cameroon (HCE-C) officially launched its activities on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, during a ceremony held at the Krystal Palace in Douala. The event took place under the auspices of the Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, with the institutional support of OHADA, represented by Dr. Yaovi Bob LIASSIDJI, Head of the Legal Affairs and Communication Service.
In her remarks, Ms. Brigitte TSOBGNY SOPPO NGALLE, President of the HCE-C, welcomed the strong engagement of entrepreneurs and institutional partners. Mr. Jean Luc Georges DO REGO, President of the High Council of Entrepreneurs of Guinea, presented an overview of the entrepreneur status within the OHADA area and urged public authorities to strengthen their support to ensure its effective implementation.
Following the official ceremony, entrepreneurs from across Cameroon attended a series of presentations highlighting the legal, administrative, fiscal, and social framework governing their status.
