Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience on Tuesday, 23 April 2024 by Mr Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Minister of Finance and Budget of the Republic of Chad.
The two leaders exchanged views on numerous issues of interest to OHADA, particularly the Organization’s financial situation, the forthcoming special meeting of ministers in charge of finance, the quality of State justice and the services provided by the justice stakeholders, the status of legal and figures professionals and the strengthening of their professional, ethical, and deontological capacity.
The Minister of Finance and Budget provided guidelines and advice, particularly with a view to diversifying the Organization’s sources of funding. He further reiterated his support for OHADA’s activities and commitment to working alongside the Permanent Secretary to ensure the success of the projects undertaken.
