Prof. Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience on Thursday 14 March 2024 by Mr Paul-Marie GONDJOUT, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals and Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic of Gabon. This audience took place on the sidelines of the awareness-raising session on the innovations in the OHADA Uniform Acts, which is being held in Libreville (Gabon) from 13 to 15 March 2024 as part of the Support Programme for Regional Integration and Investment in Central Africa (PAIRIAC).
The two personalities exchanged views on several issues of interest to OHADA. In particular, they discussed the financing of institutions, the intensification of publicity and capacity-building initiatives on OHADA law, and the operationalization of the computerized Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM).
The Keeper of the Seals renewed his support to OHADA’s actions and reiterated his commitment to working alongside the Permanent Secretary to ensure the success of the projects undertaken.
