From 20 to 25 April 2026, the city of Douala (Cameroon) hosted a workshop to review OHADA’s Financial Regulations and its Manual of Administrative, Financial and Accounting Procedures.
Under the effective chairmanship of OHADA’s Permanent Secretary, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, delegations from the Permanent Secretariat, the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration and ERSUMA examined and amended these governance instruments, which are essential to the proper functioning of the Organisation’s institutions. The deliberations led to the review of OHADA’s Financial Regulations, the alignment of job titles and functional responsibilities, and the modernisation of procedures.
The Douala workshop paves the way for the forthcoming adoption of new governance instruments by OHADA’s competent bodies.
