The Permanent Secretary Continues His Diplomatic Engagements in Cameroon

Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, received in audience H.E. Mr. Sylvain RIQUIER, Ambassador of France to Cameroon, on 19 January 2026 in Yaoundé. The two officials exchanged views on various matters of common interest, with a view to strengthening OHADA’s role in the continuous improvement of the business climate and in supporting the development efforts of its Member States.

On 22 January 2026, the Permanent Secretary paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Malick DIOUF, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Cameroon. This visit provided an opportunity to discuss Senegal’s role in the smooth functioning of OHADA and to address various issues relating to the responsibilities incumbent upon that country in its capacity as depository of the instruments of ratification and accession to the OHADA Treaty.
