On the 17th of November 2023, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was received in audience by H.E. Mrs. Aïssata TALL SALL, Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice of Senegal, in the presence of Mrs. Hélène SARR CAMARA, Executive Secretary of the OHADA National Commission of the Republic of Senegal.
Discussions covered a range of topics of interest to the Organization. The outstanding role of Senegal and its authorities in the creation and modeling of the Organization, the main projects and questions to be managed, the roadmap for Senegal’s forthcoming term of office at the helm of the OHADA and the handover of duties were among the topics discussed by the two personalities.
It should be recalled that, following the Democratic Republic of Congo, which presided over OHADA for the year 2023, Senegal will take over the Organization’s presidency for the year 2024.
