Under the patronage of the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals of the Republic of Gabon, the OHADA Regional Advanced School for Magistracy (ERSUMA) and the Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Africa (APAA), in partnership with the OHADA Permanent Secretariat, the CCJA Arbitration Centre, the Federation of Gabonese Enterprises (FEG), JURIDAF GABON SA, the BGFI Business School, the International Institute of Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation (IIMAC) and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), are organising in Libreville (Gabon) and on the ERSUMA online platform, on 25 and 26 July 2024, the 3rd edition of the African Arbitration and Mediation Days (JAAM) on the theme : ââ Contemporary Issues in Arbitration and Mediation Law in Africaââ This 3rd edition of the JAAM is designed to address the contemporary issues facing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) stakeholders in Africa, with a view to strengthening their capacities. The programme of proceedings includes sessions and panels led by leading dispute resolution specialists, international experts and institutional partners.
Deliberations will be conducted in English and French, with simultaneous translation into Spanish and Portuguese.
Target audience: The 3rd African Arbitration and Mediation Days are meant for all disputes resolution stakeholders. They are: Arbitrators; mediators; promoters, leaders, managers and staff of arbitration institutions; economic operators; judicial and legal officers; company lawyers; academics; lawyers; notaries; bailiffs; court registrars; chartered accountants; accountants and other figures experts; company directors from all sectors; economic operators; executives and staff of chambers of commerce and industry; anyone interested in the role of arbitrator and mediator.

- Participation fees
- On-site: CFA F 200,000
- Online: CFA F 50,000
A 40% discount is granted to students who provide valid evidence of their status at the time of registration.
Participation fees in the JAAM includes: participation in scientific work / welcome and support for return (for participants not living in Libreville) / coffee breaks / 02 lunches / participation kit.
Travel, accommodation and other catering costs are borne by participants.
