ANNOUNCEMENT OF APRIL 2021 ACTIVITIES

ERSUMA HEADOFFICE – CCJA HEADOFFICE – ZOOM VISIOCONFERENCE

 

The High Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), is organising its 4th training session (fee-based training) and 2nd conference (free of charge) of the 2021 catalogue, during the month of April at the offices of ERSUMA, CCJA and via videoconference on Zoom.

  1. Training F4 – Theme: “Succeed in the safeguarding of troubled businesses under OHADA Law”.
  • General information:
  • Duration/Dates: Three (3) days, April 20 to 22, 2021
  • Venue/Channel: ERSUMA HEADOFFICE – CCJA HEADOFFICE – Zoom Visioconference
  • Opening of the virtual room: from 7 a.m. (GMT)
  • Training Code : ERS-F4
  • Target audience: Judges; barristers; court registrars, bailiffs; notaries; chartered accountants and certified accountants; judicial representatives; auditors; company lawyers; managers; any other interested person.
  • Training fees: 210,000 FCFA (On site attendance at the ERSUMA and CCJA head offices)

                              150,000 FCFA (Zoom videoconference)

  • Moderator: Mr Karel Osiris Coffi DOGUE, Doctor in Private Law, ERSUMA Director of Studies
  • Trainer 1: President Mounetaga DIOUF, High Judge, Doctor of Law, Judge at the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA) of OHADA, Trainer at ERSUMA.
  • Trainer 2: Professor Yvette Rachel KALIEU ELONGO, Associate Professor of Law, University of Dschang, Cameroon.
  • Trainer 3: Carmel-Marie Oswald CHODATON, Chartered Accountant, External Auditor, Management Sciences Lecturer at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), Partner at ExCCA.
  • Discounts:

– 10% for groups of three (3) or more people from the same company/organisation

– 40% for students and PhD students; on presentation of a proof of their “student” status together with a request addressed to the Director General of ERSUMA and sent to ersuma@ohada.org

  • For physical attendance registration, the training fee covers training materials, coffee, and lunch breaks during the training days. Travel, accommodation, and other catering costs shall be borne by the participant.
  • For videoconference registration, the training fee covers the training materials during the training days. Internet connection costs and other catering costs shall be paid by the participant.

Mr. Edouard KITIO, High Judge, Doctor of Law, Director of Research and Documentation of ERSUMA will be moderating the conference. Prominent experts specialized in African financial markets and university lecturers in the field will facilitate it.

  • For physical attendance, participants are requested to come to the ERSUMA office.
