On the margins of the 59th session of the Council of Ministers held in N’Djamena, Professor Mayatta Ndiaye MBAYE, Permanent Secretary of OHADA, was granted an audience on Friday, 12 September 2025, by His Excellency Mahamat Idriss DEBY ITNO, Marshal of Chad, President of the Republic, and current Chair of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Organisation’s Member States.
On this occasion, the Permanent Secretary conveyed OHADA’s deep appreciation to the host country and held fruitful exchanges with the Head of State on matters of strategic importance to the Organisation. Discussions notably focused on preparations for the forthcoming session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for 2 December 2025, the mobilisation of resources from Member States, and the strengthening of cooperation with the African Union.
