Under the supervision of the OHADA Permanent Secretariat, the OHADA Accounting Profession Standardization Commission (CNPC-OHADA) will hold its plenary session from 6 to 9 October 2025 at Azalaï Hotel in Dakar, Senegal.
This strategic gathering of accounting professionals will bring together, in addition to Commission members, invited experts, and technical and financial partners. The agenda includes:
- Review of the CNPC’s 2025–2028 Action Plan;
- Examination of technical opinions on SYSCOHADA and SYCEBENL;
- A workshop on accounting standardization in the face of CSR and ESG challenges;
- Discussions on the creation of a CSR/SDG label;
The plenary session forms part of the ongoing effort to modernize the OHADA accounting system in response to economic, technological, and regulatory developments. It represents a major step forward and reaffirms the CNPC’s central role in advancing financial transparency, promoting continuous harmonization of accounting practices, and ensuring the effective integration of sustainability issues within OHADA Member States.
