ERSUMA-OHADA
LAUNCH OF THE ERSUMA ACTIVITIES CATALOGUE FOR THE YEAR 2026
ERSUMA, the OHADA School of Business Law, is pleased to announce the official launch of its Catalogue of training activities, scientific research, legal documentation and legal interpretation services for the year 2026.
This Catalogue reflects the Institution’s ongoing commitment to supporting, year after year, judicial, legal and economic stakeholders within the OHADA area in their understanding, appropriation and effective implementation of business law and other African Community laws. It embodies ERSUMA’s determination to offer practical, accessible and up-to-date activities that respond to developments in the law and professional realities, in a context marked by increasing demands for legal certainty, economic performance and sustainability.
For the year 2026, ERSUMA offers its audiences a rich and diversified programme structured around several key areas. This includes, in particular, degree-awarding and certificate programmes in OHADA law in the fields of corporate governance, enforcement proceedings, arbitration and mediation. In this regard, applications have been open since 1 February 2026 for the 2026–2027 academic intake. These long-term programmes are complemented by nine (09) short-term continuing professional development courses, designed to address current issues with high operational value, delivered in person and/or by videoconference.
The programme also includes six (06) international online conferences, open free of charge to a wide audience, as well as several flagship scientific events in the life of the Institution. Foremost among these is the fourth edition of the International Forum of Legal and Accounting Professionals (FIPROD), scheduled for May 2026 in Casablanca (Kingdom of Morocco). Also featured prominently is the second edition of the ERSUMA Open Days, during which the graduation ceremony of the second cohort of degree programme graduates will be held.
Tailor-made training programmes, developed at the request of technical and financial partners and intended for specific audiences and professional groups, further complement this offer, in response to targeted needs expressed by institutions and organisations. Public and private institutions, as well as companies, may therefore call upon ERSUMA’s expertise for the design and delivery of training programmes or scientific events tailored to their specific requirements.
All activities are presented in chronological order in the Catalogue and are accompanied by detailed descriptive factsheets. Additional information is available on the official OHADA website at site www.ohada.org as well as on the Integrated Webinar Management System (SIGWEB), accessible at https://sigweb.ersuma.org https://sigweb.ersuma.org.
Through this 2026 Catalogue, ERSUMA reaffirms its availability and commitment to all stakeholders within the OHADA area, in a spirit of knowledge-sharing, professionalisation of practices and the sustainable consolidation of the economic rule of law in Africa and beyond.
