NEWS RELEASE – 1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2024 : “ACCOUNTING STANDARDS SETTING AND CHALLENGES OF FINANCIAL REPORTING IN THE OHADA ZONE”

The Higher Regional School of Magistracy (ERSUMA) of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), in partnership with OHADA’s Accounting Standards Setting Committee (CNPC), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Bekolo & Partners and TFN ADVISORY, is organizing its 1st international videoconference on Zoom on Thursday 15 February 2024 under the theme: “ACCOUNTING STANDARDS SETTING AND CHALLENGES OF FINANCIAL REPORTING IN THE OHADA ZONE’’.

  • Presentation 2: Setting Standards in CSR Reporting by Companies in Africa By Ms Elena BOTVINA, Economic Affairs Officer – Division of Investment and Enterprise, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Geneva; (Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in French for this presentation)
  • Presentation 3: Specific Features of Accounting Standard-Setting in the Air Transport Sector By Mr Emile BEKOLO, Chartered Accountant, Managing Partner Bekolo & Partners, Cameroon;
  • Presentation 4: Application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the OHADA Zone By Mr Francis NANA, Chartered accountant, CEO of TFN ADVISORY, United Kingdom.
