The National Committee OHADA was created in 1999 .
Compsition:
- representatives of line ministries ,
- representatives of professional bodies ,
- representative of economic operators,
- the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin
- and the representative of the National Union of Magistrates of Benin .
- The Commission has no website. It uses the post box of the Ministry of Justice 01 BP 967 Cotonou. His email address is commissionohadabenin@yhoo.com
Ratification/Accession : 8 Mars 1995
Deposit of ratification instruments : 10 Mars 1995
The Commission meets in regular session two (02) times a year and the duration of each session shall not exceed five (05) days. It may meet in extraordinary session , in accordance with a schedule approved by the Minister of Justice .

- d’un président, représentant le Gardes des Sceaux, Ministre de la Justice et de la Législation,
- d’un Vice-président représentant du Ministre de l’Economie et des finances
- d’un Rapporteur, représentant de la Chambre Nationale des Notaires.
Un projet de nomination de nouveaux membres de la Commission est en cours. La plupart de ses membres sont admis à la retraite ou ont changé de fonction.
Le directeur Adjoint de la Législation, de la Codification et des Sceaux du Ministère de la Justice et de la Législation gère les affaires courantes de la Commission.
Presentation of OHADA National Commission activities
The Commission is responsible for reviewing the drafts of OHADA Uniform Acts and to issue opinions on matters addressed by the Permanent Secretariat of OHADA. It participates , if necessary , in activities organized by the Permanent Secretariat .

- la Banque Mondiale de laquelle, elle reçoit de temps à autre, le financement de certaines de ses activités ;
- le Secrétariat Permanent de l’OHADA qui lui apporte, le cas échéant, son appui technique et financier ;
- la Coopération française de laquelle elle a reçu des dons d’ouvrages ;
- l’Ecole Régionale Supérieure de la Magistrature (ERSUMA) qui lui apporte un appui pour la formation professionnelle des magistrats, officiers de justice et greffiers

The commission is currently governed by Decree No 2010-271 of 11 June 2010 on the establishment, composition , responsibilities, organization and functioning of the National Commission for the Study of the legal texts of the Permanent Secretariats of the Organization for the Harmonization in Africa of Business Law .
The current members of the Commission were appointed by the ministerial decree N ° 0248 / MJLDH / MEF / DC / SG / SA of 15 March 2005 appointing the members of the National Commission for the Study of the legal texts of the Permanent Secretariats of Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa ( currently being updated ) .
